Bobwhite are known for their "bob-white" sounding whistle. They are small birds that are about 8-9 inches long with a heavily mottled pattern of black, white, and brown that vary in shades. Females have a brown head and males have a white head and brown stripe.

The Chukar is about 32 - 35 cm long with a grey breast, and buff belly, red legs, and a coral red beak. Chukars are an excellent flyer and are larger than Bobwhites, they are great for dog training and hunting. They are also known to be the BEST tasting in the quail family!

Coturnix quails are small meat birds that stand about 5 inches tall. They mostly have a brown pattern on their feathers and white breast. They are also known as Japanese Quail. Coturnix quails are omnivorous birds but need more protein in their diet because they grow quickly.

Pheasants are 20-30 inches long, have a greenish-blue head and red cheeks, a white ring at the bottom of their neck, brown black and white feathers all over the body with a long tail on the male. They are excellent at flying, awesome high protein for food and great for dog training!

Mallards are 20-26 inches long waterfowl known for its males having a shimmering green-head with a yellow bill, a grey body with brown breast, orange feet and black rear. Females and juveniles have a brown pattern, with a black and yellowish bill and orange feet. They are an excellent protein source and are excellent flyers which make them great for hunting and dog training.
